Drawer Boxes
Drawer boxes and pullouts with dovetail joints in the past were only available in very expensive cabinets. Today nearly all cabinet-makers have dovetailed drawer options. Evans crafts dovetail drawers and pullouts made to the sizes and depths beyond what is found in stock or semi-stock cabinets.
Large drawers are reinforced to assure the homeowner that a lifetime of service can be expected.
Available in 5/8" think natural soft maple hardwood, or 5/8" thick prefinished Baltic Birch. Other woods available. Contact us for a quote.
Bottoms are 1/4" thick and recessed up 1/2". They are similar material to the sides. A 1/2" plywood reinforcing strip to support 1/4" bottoms on drawers 24" or wider is used.
All joins are glued and machine pressed with bottoms stapled.
Heights are available from 2" to 14" on even inch increments. Finishing available.
